PSGS is a long-established and award winning business, incorporated in 1995. We offer a range of services including scheme secretarial, pensions governance, professional trusteeship, governance consulting, pensions management, communications and adviser selection. We are a privately owned business, independent of all other firms offering advisory services to trust-based pension schemes.
Following the merger in 2018 of PS Independent Trustees & HR Trustees, we’re one of the UK’s largest independent trustee and professional pension secretarial services businesses. Although we’re now a team of over 50, we’ve been successful at keeping the personal feel we had at the very start.
Professionalism and personality have got us a long way. We currently work with 240 clients covering over 680,000 members and £50bn in assets. From the very small (£0.5m) to the very large (£5bn), clients stay with us. They trust us to get on with the job and deliver great service, knowing we’ll be friendly too.
We act for many pension schemes, including defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) pension schemes that are open or closed to new members or future benefit accrual, ongoing, winding up or merging. We work with both trust based pension schemes and contract based workplace pensions.
We are members of The Association of Corporate Trustees (TACT), Faculty and Institute of Actuaries, PLSA, Association of Professional Pension Trustees (APPT) and Pensions Management Institute (PMI).
Put simply, our ethos is to be a team and enjoy what we do.
The attributes of our business and characteristics of our people enable us to deliver collaborative, client-focused teamwork with professionalism and personality. By supporting each other, we’ve created a stable team with exceptionally low turnover.
Our culture is built on being a diverse, inclusive and respectful team, supportive of each other’s professional, mental, physical and financial wellbeing. Everyone in the team can be themselves and we all understand diversity goes beyond visible differences.
As well as focusing on this internally, we’re driving this debate externally, developing training and support to help clients embed diversity, equality and inclusion in trustee thinking, board effectiveness, scheme strategy and communications.
We have offices throughout the UK.
